Hanu, with over 22 years of work and entrepreneurial experience in business, engineering, Information Technology, and non-profit organizations, founded Vinhamz. Hanu has been an entrepreneur most of his career. Hanu founded, managed, and operated two small and medium start-up businesses successfully as an entrepreneur and sold those companies prior to the start-up of Vinhamz.

He worked as a part time Instructor in Management Information Systems and as an affiliate member of graduate faculty at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, U.S.A. He taught data communications for the graduate students and computer applications in business for the under-grad students. Hanu started his career as a Manufacturing Engineer in a private company. He also worked as a Project Manager in a private company.

Hanu takes pro-active role in volunteer service to the community. He held leadership positions as a volunteer in not-for- profit organizations and provided successful leadership. Currently Hanu serves as a Director on the Board of Directors, International Services Council of Alabama, Inc., (ISC). ISC is a member of National Council for International Visitors (NCIV) that is affiliated to the U.S. Department of State. ISC and NCIV promote Citizen Diplomacy “one hand shake at a time”. Hanu also serves as a Director on the Board of Directors, UAHuntsville Alumni Association.

Hanu holds a B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering (ranked in the top 10 best engineering colleges in India), Delhi University, New Delhi, India. Hanu also holds a M.S. degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, U.S.A.
